And they are mostly first class devotees of Lord Caitanya. I think the term Gaudiya Vaisnava is a modern term, as mostly of the Vaisnava acarya preachers came from Bengal. But in a real sense, we are Caitanyaite, or Caitanya Vaisnavism, who are followers of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, the maha-vadanya manifestation of Lord Krishna.
