Guest guest
>So I guess if the money is given in charity to non-brahmana, one is >DESTINED to take birth again to receive the money back. Is my >understanding correct? If you even take a breath you are destined to take birth again. Any activity ultimately brings the same result. That is the meaning when Lord Krishna says all activity must be performed for the purpose of yajna, otherwise it will bind one. (yajnarthat karmanah...) Rebirth is not just a special feature of giving charity to non-brahmanas. So there is no point in spending excess time making sure we don't give charity to non-brahmanas. Nor do devotees have to worry whether or not they accidentally gave some charity to a non-brahmana. We have a lot more binding karma then that. It is almost an all or nothing situation. Either we learn how to become free from the bondage of karma, or we don't. If we don't, we will have so much karma accumulated that we won't be able to keep track. Perhaps not the exact answer you wanted.
