Guest guest
I thought the actual Bhagavat saptaha is following the footsteps of Sukadeva Goswami and Pariksit Maharaja. That is there is continuos speaking and hearing for seven days without eating and sleeping. Anything less than that is not Bhagavat-saptaha, but an immitation. Another point is after hearing the real Bhagavat-saptaha, the hearer becomes free from all material contamination and becomes free from material existence. Srila Prabhupada emphasizes again and again in his purports to the Srimad Bhagavatam that there must be purity of the speakers and the hearers. Practically all the Bhagavat-saptaha reciters I have seen are merely interested in impressing the audience with their learning of Bhagavatam.
