Bramha Steals Cows

Krsna wished at that time, "I want. Lakhs and lakhs of gopis want that

I should be their, and they should give Me, keep Me in their laps and give

Me their breast milk. So they all want. I will have to fulfill because I

have made a promise like this. Ye yatha mam prapadyante tams tathaiva

bhajamy aham. So I must be their son." Also lakhs and lakhs cows, the cows

of Nanda Baba nine lakhs, and the cows of Vrsabhanu Maharaja eleven laksh,

and others, lakhs, uncounted number, they wanted that Krsna should be our

calves. Oh, Krsna is desire tree. He also wanted that, "I should be the

calves of all the cows." And in Vrndavana, in Gokula, in everywhere,

Nandagaon, everywhere, all the young girls, they wanted that Krsna should be

our husband, like our beloved. All wanted. So Krsna has to fulfil this also.

So Krsna thought that, "Oh, it's a good time." At once He sent His Yogamaya.

[but actually] nothing to send, always Yogamaya is in Him. She knew and at

once managed this. And ! Brahma stole away the cowherd boys and calves and

he kept them in any cave. And for a moment he went to his abode and quickly

he returned, and for this world it was like one year. And what happened

before he returned?

 

Before Brahma returned Baladeva Prabhu was thinking, "Oh, very strange

thing. At first I used to see that all the gopis were having so much love

and affection for Krsna, more than their children, their sons. But now I am

seeing that they have equal love for Krsna and their sons. And also for cows

I'm seeing. Oh, they have so much affection for their older sons than [for

their] new calves. Why? What is thing?" And then He saw, "Oh, very wonderful

Krsna. He began to laugh, smile and told Krsna, "O Krsna, what is this? I am

seeing that you are calves also. So Your stomach was not fulfilled by taking

only the milk of Srimati Yasoda, Your mother, so You became lakhs and lakhs

cowherd boys.

Even still [Your stomach was] not fulfilled, then You became all calves

here.

 

And what is this? All the cowherd boys were You, Yourself, not original

ones. Why? Oh, to marry with all gopis. You have married all."

 

At that time the priest, Gargacarya told that, "This year is very good year

and auspicious. You should give marriage to your all daughters, even those

who are in womb of their mothers, even you should [arrange their marriage].

To make friendship [vow], that if a son will be from your womb, and my child

is daughter, then they will marry. We should have a promise like this."

 

So all gopis were married. Only Radhika was not married. There was some

trick of Yogamaya. At that year She was not married. For Radhika, for

Vrsabhanu Maharaja it was told that it was a very bad year, so this

[marriage] She should not do. So trickily [by trick] all the gopis who

married that year were married to Krsna. And also Srimati Radhika was

married to Abhimanyu. She was not married, but Her manifestation was married

to Abhimanyu. Who is Abhimanyu? He is also manifestation of Krnsa. So shadow

was married to shadow.

 

Because Radha is only power of Krsna, She cannot be divided from Krsna. She

is one with Krsna. For pastimes She becomes like this, two. Otherwise only

one, both are in the shape of Mahaprabhu. And when They are in two, they

become Radha and Krsna. But even one soul, two bodies.
