It was in relation to this Adhokshaja Deity that I wanted to know if there

is a statement in the biographies of Lord Caitanya stating that Jagannatha

Mishra used to worship a four handed Vishnu form. I only know of statements

in Cc that he worshiped salagram and Bal Gopal (or maybe he worshiped

salagram identifying Him as Bal Gopal). A statement in the old biographies

that he worshiped a four handed Vishnu form would help substantiate that the

Adhokshaja Deity found while digging the foundation for the Yogapitha temple

was Jagannath Mishra's Deity, and that that site was the actual place of

Mahaprabhu's birth.
