Guest guest
> In my travels, I came across this little book of nectar listing the > glories of the 100 names of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. > the 100 names are from gitavali by bhaktivinode thakura. that's ok. the "sata nama mahatmya" was composed by bhakti ratna sadhu swami of Mira rd bombay. he told me he took various verses from other mahatmyas and plagarized up his own "mahatmya". when i asked him If his guru vargya have seen and approved this poetry, he told me he didn't see the need to get the blessings of his vaisnava superiors for that composition. it;s his idea. (like tulasidas ramayana), some will like it, some will not. so I'd leave that out of the chanting, people can decide for themselves if they want to chant it or not. they put it in the folio, but I told ranjit in the next edition, they could add the addenium about who wrote the "mahatmya" TridaNDi BhikSu, Bhakti Visrambha MAdhava
