Guest guest
>Which are the objections to give the brahma-gayatri to ladies? > >ANSWER: Due to the power of the mantra, ladies are prone to develop the ego >of a purusha, conroller. On the other hand male persons develop sweet and >gentle qualities by the influence of this mantra. Since our object is to >become assistents in the service of gopi's to Sri Sri Radha and Krishna, we >do not emphasize on control and other masculine qualities. Since Srila Prabhupada gave the gayatri to ladies, what is this person trying to say? Many men who have this mantra have acted in most abominable ways, trying to be controllers, especially in finding fault with vaisnavas. And many of the ladies who chant it exhibit "sweet and gentle" qualities. If we are "Prabhupada das" shouldn't we quote from him? OF course the name Prabhupada is a title and A C Bhaktivedanta Swami never claimed exclusive rights to the title.
