Anna means 'grains' in Bengali just because FOOD and RICE are the

synonyms:-)

 

Ones sankirtan devotees has come back from a two weeks trip and said

everything was nice, but we didn't get any food... What? We where eating

something but there was no anna, no rice...

:-)
