Guest guest
Here are my two cents on this. Please forgive any mistakes in my comments. This sloka is from Sri Rama Raksha Stotram composed by Sri Budha Kaushik Rsi. It was narrated to the sage in dream by Lord Siva. Then he got up in the morning and wrote it down for our benefit. You get the benefit of performing one Ashwamedha Yajna by reciting this stotra. It provides the protection like a cage made of vajra-material to the devotee. I have found the recitation of this stotra as good as Amrita. It has the potency of checking the attack of bhutas and pretas. However the sloka I like most is : Ramo Rajamani Sada Vijayate Ramam Ramesham Bhaje Ramena Bhiyata Nishacharchamu Ramaya Tasmai Namah Raman Nasty Parataram Ramasya Dasosyamhama Rame Chittalayam Sada Bhavatu Bho Rama Mam Uddhara This sloka is a master-piece, as it includes ekavachani prathama, dvitiya, tritiya, chaturthi, panchami, sasthi, saptami and ashtami forms of the proper noun Ram. I heard a simliar sloka composed by the great Alvar King Kulashekhara glorifying Lord Krishna's name. Does anybody know that sloka by heart ? > Do we have specific mantras for Lord Ramachandra? Can we recite > "Aapa dama pahattaram > daataram sarva sampadaam > Lokabhiramam Sri Ramam > bhuyo bhuyo namamyaham" ???
