Guest guest
1. <<Relishing the transcendental sweetness of krsna-kirtana is only possible when one is actually advanced towards perfection.>> 2. << In the conditioned stage, we chant Hare Krsna mantra officially without any attachment and try to finish the rounds as soon as possible. Sometimes we also forget to chant the prescribed rounds.>> Comment: Going from the second situation to the first situation seems so easy, but is so difficult at the same time. Is easy for the simple and difficult for the crooked minded, I heard somewhere sometime. In the conditioned state the medicine of chanting Hare Krishna surely tastes bitter, but there is no other hope than continuing with faith and desire to become cured from our envy of Krishna. Because then the same holy name will taste like nectar. The medicine for our disease not only cures us from the disease, but awards the perfection of existence. It is the means and goal of spiritual perfection. If we were only able to chant purely, without offense, everything would become perfect. We would become situated in spiritual existence and be serving Lord Krishna without any tinge of material contamination. But we cannot chant purely unless we are purified. So, we simply have no other option than continue chanting in the conditioned state, consciously trying to avoid aparadha and become purified. "Oh Harinama, please be merciful upon me. Give me the intelligence, the faith, the understanding that there is no cure for my material disease, other than taking complete shelter of Your Lotus Feet. Please let me become convinced of this fact". "Dear Vaishnavas, who are described to be just like desire trees, please help me in any way you can so that I may grasp this spiritual truth and implement it in my life. So, that I may advance like all of you and become a servant of the holy name". begging for your mercy, your humble servant, KPdd
