Brahmaloka (Satyaloka) is almost like Vaikunthaloka but not equal to

vaikunthaloka. The duration of life in Satyaloka is calculated to be

15,480,000,000,000 years.

"The Vedic literatures describe that in Satyaloka there is no birth, death,

old age or disease. In other words, since Satyaloka is situated next to

Brahmaloka, or the Brahman effulgence, it is almost as good as

VaikuŠ˜haloka. Lord Brahm€’s abode is practically indescribable from our

present status. Therefore it has been described as av€‰-manasa-gocara, or

beyond the description of our words and the imagination of our minds." in

the same purport SB 5.1.21

There are two Brahmalokas mentioned clarified as below.

Sometimes Satyaloka, the planet in which Brahm€ resides, is also called

Brahmaloka. But the Brahmaloka mentioned here is not the same as the

Satyaloka planetary system. This Brahmaloka is eternal, whereas the

Satyaloka planetary system is not eternal. And to distinguish between the

two, the adjective san€tana has been used in this case. According to ®r…la

J…va Gosv€m…, this Brahmaloka is the loka or abode of Brahman, or the

Supreme Lord.--SB 2.5.39

Still higher planets, such as Maharloka, Tapoloka, Satyaloka and Brahmaloka,

do not dissolve in the devastating water. This is because of the causeless

devotional service rendered unto the Lord by their inhabitants, whose

existence continues up to the end of dvi-par€rdha time, when they are

generally liberated from the chain of birth and death in the material

world.--SB 3.10.9
