In Pandharpur, the spiritual capital of Maharashtra, the Lord is worshiped as

Sri Vitthala. His devotees also fondly call Him Vithobha or Panduranga.

Vitthala means Krsna.

>>> Ref. VedaBase => Morning Walk -- March 17, 1974, Vrndavana

Dr. Hopkins: "So Lord Vitthala and Krsna are the same?"

Prabhupada: "Lord Vitthala is Visnu."
