108. mürkho vadati viñëäya

dhéro vadati viñëave

ubhayos tu samaà puëyaà

bhäva-grähé janärdanaù

 

[murkho vadati visnaya

dhiro vadati visnave

ubhayos tu samam punyam

bhava-grahi janardana]

 

“ ‘An uneducated person may say ‘visnaya', and a learned person may say

‘visnave'. But Lord Krsna, who is only interested in the love of His

devotees, accepts both these prayers equally.'

 

Spoken by Lord Gauranga to Isvara Puri in Caitanya Bhagavata,

Adi-khanda, Chapter Eleven, verse 108.
