If one has been appointed to give a lecture to the devotees/ or public, then yes he may glorify their guru pranama mantra, but generally in line with GBC regulations, this is done softly to one self. the ettiquette is that-by the mercy of/ and as representative of/ the spiritual master one can preach. so he should be glorified as a self purification before one speaks, but softly. not in a loud way.
