Yes, 100% most certainly it is a fact that for parents who consciously

undergo the purifactory rites of samskara not only do the children turn out

on the whole very nice, but it also help the parents, and the overall

community too.

There are a couple of nice quotes there that may be of use to devotees.

 

In Australia and New Zealand where we have been developing such a program

of assisting devotees (both full-time and congregational) with their

samskaras we have had tremendous success. We have found that not only are

devotees becoming focused on their responsibilities to perform such

samskaras for their immediate family, but they are also noticing the

benefit that it has on the community of devotees by holding such programs,

asking for the blessing of their godbrothers/sisters, etc. This is culture.

 

I personally know many parents here who have followed the guidlines that we

have given them from the shastra (Sat Kriya sara Dipika, Kalaprakashika,

Muhurtha Tattwa, etc., incorportating much of Srila Prabhupada's practical

advice) and they are more than satisfied with the children that they have,

the houses that they build or purchase, cars they buy, gems they wear,

etc., etc., etc!!!
