Please don't discuss the guru issue in the Varnasrama conference

PAMHO.

 

Varnasrama is including everything in the society, so in a strict sense

everything is on topic for discussions about Varnasrama. But to

keep some order, we have to restrict our discussions slightly.

 

The Guru issue is important for spiritual life, and thus also

for varnasrama. But I feel that it is a very hot topic, and one that

creates a lot of discussions.

 

So I suggest that we keep Guru discussions out of the Varnasrama

conference, and that a special conference can be created for

such discussions. Discussions about Cows, although very important

for Varnasrama, has its own conference. This is an example how

a subject can be very important, but still not the topic of the Varnasrama

conference, and that it has its own conference.

 

I am against moderation, but there appears to be an explosion of

texts about Gurus right now, so I feel that I have to take this

step temporarily, just so that everyone gets this message,

and so that discussion stops.
