This is antoher entry in the regarding ISKCON reforms.

I think that an important thing is that devotees start to give

credit to each other for what they have accomplished.

Currently, whatever task someone does, becomes hidden

in some kind of impersonalistic "all credit to Guru" kind of

way.

>From the absolute spiritual way, we are all insignificant servants,

but that does not mean that whatever we does has no value.

Management in ISKCON often means to get some man, for

a job, any Joe brahmacary. It really does not matter whom.

He will come and do a job, and then he will be forgotten, never

to come back again. Then all glories for the accomplishment

get upsurped by the leader/manager, who out of "humility"

offers everything to Guru.

Isn't it time to see devotees as persons, and give them

personal credit for what they have done?

In the nearby temple, there is a plaque beside the

temple room. On that plaque is a list of everyone who

have given a donation for that temple room. I get very

impressed by the attitude of that manager. He wanted

to give credit to everyone, no matter how little that

devotee had been giving. It is there for everyone

to watch.

Why not, for example, make it a GBC rule to give

credit to everyone who has done a contribution like

that. What is wrong with giving credit to others?

It might be material, but it will also inspire that devotee

to stay, and others to also do their contribution.

I have a hard time take ISKCON seriously until it can

be seen that all devotees, present and past, are

getting proper credit for what they have done.

I will not hide my feelings, but I am very disappointed

with the treatment from ISKCON for the contributions I

have made myself.
