I never said that Visnupada wanted devotees to move outside, did I? On the contrary, he did not want it. Maybe you should go back and read my text again. He wanted to introduce varnasrama within the ISKCON framework, but he did not get support for his ideas. This spring he made a "now or never" effort. But have you heard anything about that effort? No, the only thing we hear is about his so called "disease". Actually, at least I find it interesting that when he wanted to do this super-effort to implement varnasrama, the reports are that he is "very" sick, not to his senses, and somehow or other is just got swept away under the carpet. So convenient, now we can say that actually, he was sick even before, and easily say that all his ideas about varnasrama was just maya. > us instructions "Do not go, stay in the temple", that with it he meant > just the opposite. You got it all wrong. It is not Visnupada who was preaching that. Still now it is beeing preached. > you would never get the chance to come up with such a theory. But Vinupada > felt insulted and mistreated by the EC, so he left. Otherwise he would > stay. Sri Visnupada said what he thought about ISKCON even before that, i heard it with my own ears. It is on tape (but conveniently censored). Actually, I think he was completely disguisted by all the resistance towards implementation of Varnasrama. Without varnasrama, Sri Visnupada did not see any future with ISKCON. He could see it falling to pieces, he just did not wait to sink with the sinking ship.
