Is it fair to say "Give us an apology" and when one is > offered, to refuse it, to say it isn't good enough, and we want more? I am not the one to accept or reject his apology, since I am not in a woman's body. But if it sounded like I rejected his apology on behalf of the women in ISKCON, I am sorry. I guess it must have sounded like that, looking at your comment. His apology is (also in my eyes) better than no apology. I just wrote, as I did with Guru-Krsna prabhu previously, that it would be nice to see it if they really understand why a lot of devotees were offended, and THEN offer their apologies. That would be very powerful. > Please, if nothing else, don't see my text as sticking up for hurtful > words. I know that would be easy to do, but it isn't accurate. After seeing your mood for quite some time, I would never think that you are out to do anything else than make sure that justice pervails. Thank you for correcting me.
