Plea for defining terms: an ulterior motive to introduce atheism.

Dear Krsna Kirti Prabhu,

 

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

 

Something must be wrong with your calendar as today's date is not April 1

(April Fools). Your title is very amusing though. Thanks for the laugh.

 

Secondly, although you have already been told that it is not allowed to leak

VAST texts, a part of me is glad that you re-released my text so everyone can

read for themselves that I am not advocating any such thing. If you read

through my text carefully you will see that it is a discussion of what

Prabhupada might have meant by "intelligence." Unfortunately, the piece you

and others did not see was the prior and ensuing discussion on the conference

which showed that none of the participants knew the answer either. As anyone

who reads my text will see, I'm proposing 3 possibilities and it was only if

people

do *not* think that Prabhupada meant material intelligence that this would

need to get clarified in future editions since the way they currently read,

that is what most people understand.

 

If we can get over this smear and twist campaign, maybe you could instead tell

us what *your understanding* is here. Do you think Prabhupada was referring

to spiritual intelligence, material intelligence or some third kind of

intelligence not yet identified? If it's number 2, the books are clear as

they are, but if it's number 1 or 3, they simply are not and that needs to be

communicated.

 

As all members of this conference can see, I did not advocate changing

Prabhupada's words to make it seem like he said that women are materially as

intelligent as men.

 

Why on earth you enclosed Hari's text (also without permission from either the

author or from VAST) is beyond the grasp of my "half-brain". She's not a

member

of this conference. That was completely uncalled for.
