Guest guest
>bhakta-class when the sastras >have been quoted in regard of stressing the worship of guru and Vaisnavas >as bing even higher than the direct worship of God Himself. That the >surrender to the guru is prerogative to the surrender to Krsna. 5c Well you are welcome to quote the sastras that you learned all the years ago when you joined in (former) Yugoslavia, but honestly there is very little said that the person who was put to you by the mistaken system of zonal acaryas as all in all only-one diksa and only-one shiksa guru should be worshiped more then Krishna. When it is in the verse 'visnuh aradhanam' that worship of a devotee is even better then worship of Krishna (and in other verses) -- it refers to the person who actually brings you back to Krishna. yes gurupadasraya then diksa but then there is a lot more, so if in some places it stops with the first few initial stages (because they think/preached that it is more important then to serve Krishna) -- it is a failure. >From the other side if by a good good luck and/or your intelligent choice the guru is THE person who can bring you the lotus feet of Sri Sri Radha Govinda and not just a link to the parampara of mahabhagavatas (and there are symptoms of that) -- then fulfilling his desires is the perfection. But anyway we all in ISKCON have this guru (i hope) and through his instructions we can see Krishna face to face. And it is actually the symptom of eing in ISKCON and accepting all that comes with that -- feeling that Srila Prabhupada is actually our guru (siksa in my case) and (not just during Guru Puja) allways. PS Please not that this is different point to what Bhakta Ivar makes, but the truth is that the personality cult is '_the dangerous thing_' if not based on REAL thing.
