Syamasundara Prabhu wrote the same thing in his letter to me. As far as Krishna's teachings in Srimad Bhagavad-gita are concerned: the 16th chapter is called daiva-asura-sampat-vibhaga-yoga. This means He's speaking about the difference between the divine and demoniac NATURES. He's describing one who is completely divine and one who is completely demoniac. However, most people are something in between. Besided that, wearing tilak or being a member of ISKCON doesn't automatically place one in the category of the divine person. Krishna doesn't say that anywhere. One may have certain divine qualities, but demoniac qualities as well. A fundamentalist thinks he's automatically "good" because he belongs to a certain group or religion. But even if one belongs to a very "good" and "divine" group like ISKCON, if he is engaging in conspiracies against women and even teams up with those who call Vaisnavis "whores" and "witches", he's certainly not "good" or "divine". At least my meat-eating karmi-parents don't use such low class words about others. Taking the dust from all Vaisnavis feet on my head, I sincerely pray that I may become a Vaisnavi in my next life.
