Guest guest
> Manu-samhita is the absolute truth? Manu-samhita has surrvived 5000 years > Kali-yuga India without any change or any misinterpretation? The present > Manu-samhita is really for our time? Manu-samhita deals with with social issues, not with the Absolute Truth. The present version of it, accessible to us, is definitely not from the times when Manu was involved. I also remember that in Satsvarupa Maharaja's book there is Prabhupada's statement to a devotee to the effect that, "if you even touch the Manu-samhita you will become a mleccha." >From all I heard about the book I really hope we are not going to introduce the rules of Manu Samhita in the nearest future. It would be REALLY though. ys.GNdd

As I remember, the statement is: "according to the Manu-samhita, you are all mlecchas & yavanas..." Mataji, I urge you & the other readers of this text to do a "search" in the Srila Prabhupada folio & see what HE says - in toto - about the Manu Samhita. Is that fair enough? > From all I heard about the book I really hope we are not going to > introduce the rules of Manu Samhita in the nearest future. It would be > REALLY though. Spiritual life - even religious life, is like the razor's edge...
