Guest guest
Dear Jayadhvaja Maharaja, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! >First of all , prabhu why you don't spend more time on preaching? Maharaja, in response to some of your questions, since you don't know my husband personally, I would like to offer a short reply. My husband does indeed preach on a daily basis to our family, to employees, tenants, friends and shopkeepers. He travelled doing sankirtana for many years. As a brahmacari he supported the Toronto temple with collections, distributed books, went on harinam, preaching engagements etc. He happens to be on the road again, working hard to maintain his family consisting of myself and four, nearly five children. We don't live in a temple but have just sold our business here because we want to open our home as a preaching center with prasadam and book distribution similar to what we started in Halifax, Nova Scotia when we were first married. In his spare time, my husband works on writing courses/seminars that he uses to teach our daughters Bhagavad-gita As It Is and other spiritual subjects (we homeschool our children). I am sorry if his questions to you came across in a threatening way or perhaps as being antagonistic to preaching. My husband is not a misogynist as some people on COM would like to believe and propagate. He (and I) are just trying to understand the practicality of women being in managerial positions in view of ISKCON Laws that are based on apparently contradictory standards. We sincerely appreciate hearing your views on this subject but perhaps it is better we continue further discussions privately, if you are willing.
