I can only say that we have made the mistake of taking over the designations

of

the western demoniac society, when it comes to men and women.

In the western society, to be women is considered a "lower" birth. Women

are constantly showing that they can be as good, or even better, than men,

in many areas, but still the stigma persists. The words "man" and "women"

are even used as positive and negative designations.

"To act like a real man", or "spaced out like a women" (sorry this is not

my native language, but I think you know what I mean)

Some devotees, with this prior background in thinking, somehow got

the wrong understanding that this is some kind of absolute truth, and

use the same conditioning in trying to apply the Vedic concept, believing

the same thing was there. Simply trying to apply the concepts of

western thinking to the Vedic society.

But if we want to speak about absolute truths in man-female relationships

we have Radha Krishna as the ultimate example. The Vedic paradime

decends from that point, and in particular in our line, we worship

Radha Krishna and it is very near to us to take our definitions from them

directly.

So what does that lead us?

Is Radha less intelligent than Krishna?

What is actually Radharani doing in the spiritual world?

Is Radha a person who stands in the background, while Krishna

is the foreground person?

No, they stand on an equal level on the altar. Different enegies,

but not at all like our concepts of "man" as superior and "woman"

as inferior. In fact, we know that Radharani even can conquer Krsna,

and thus be superior.

So from where is actually this concept of women as inferior coming

from? Does it have anything to do with our philosphy at all?
