The Vedics' materialistic view of women

I cannot more agree to this, and beeing completely surprised how

anyone can belive these things. Devotees really should know better,

we know that there is more than the gross material body, but still

we divide up people based on it. We don't even see the subtle body.

 

When it comes to reproductive functions, then for sure the gross body

is very significant. But when it comes to things like society roles,

varna, gender and intelligence, it is the subtle body that makes the

difference. There are different configurations in the subtle body

between men and women.

 

Bodily strength, brain size, and other physical characteristics are

determined by genetics, and hormones. Both very gross. You can just

see some east-european ethletic women that take male hormones, and

actually get big muscular bodies just like men.

 

The male and femaleness are influenced by the subtle body,

due to the influences of male and female energies. A pretty

unresearched field, so much knowledge is not available.

What causes the influence of the two energies in the subtle

body? Possibly karma, maybe desire.

 

I would suggest that not taking the subtle body in account, makes all

theories about men and women break down. We are just simply pretty

much in ignorance in that subject matter. And whatever men say about

stereotypes about women, there will always come a women who is

under influence of the male energy, and beat them in their head, and the

only way for the *real* man to show his superiority is to use the only

superiority he has left -- his gross material body, and physically beat down

the woman. Or feverisly try to reuse the same old quotes from sastra

over and over again.

 

Not that the female energy is less powerful. I suggest that it is it

that makes men's brains melt like butter. Men often has no protection

towards that, but the ice box of vedic shastra. Unfortunately that ice

often freezes the brain instead, which also renders it non-functional.
