After years of cynicism, that could be tough for me! It actually made me feel

wierd to be supporting the GBC in the matter of the existence of the Women's

Ministry.

Also, the reinvigoration of the Agricultural Ministry was a bright spot, and

the seeming acceptence of the Cow Standards as proposed by that Ministry gives

me reasons to think maybe there is hope for the GBC.

Real tough! Respect is earned over a long period of consistency in appropriate

behavior to the position. We have seen consistent neglect of taking up the

orders of the spiritual master as regards VAD for 25 years straight.

Yea, but you ARE weird Gosh!:-)

It's all lip service so far just as it has been for 25 years. Let's see some

endowment money from the rich "sannyasis" coffers before we give too much

credit. They can accept the standards for Cow protection but they can just as

easily refuse to raise/purchase cows and thereby not have to worry about the

standards.

Quite frankly, I have once again, for the 25th year in a row, not seen very

much practical management subjects discussed or legislated at the management

(GBC) meetings in Mayapura. Just more treatment of the symptoms of the disease

in order to keep their well paid positions. VAD hardly received but a few

breaths in the meetings. And they wonder why there is so much chaos?

I think I will take sannyasa, threaten a whole bunch of trouble for ISKCON and

wait for my check for a million dollars so I can finally retire in comfort.

I'm sure none of the other devotees will mind them giving their hard earned

money to me, will they? They will probably actually pay me because they must

have doubts in their devotional service and therefore doubt that Krsna will

protect them from such threats. We've come a long way in the last 25 years,

huh?

Please accept my humble obeisances.

All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Maybe the problem is that we are living in the different hemispheres.

When the sun is rising in USA, it's getting dark in the Europe. :)

Anyway, time will show who was right.

I just checked VAD's status - so there are 125 member around the world,

but about 20% of them doesn't seem to receive texts. Still there

remains quite many devotees, who humbly receive (and maybe even read!)

all the mail, it's enough to fill up a big temple room.

There some types of members: 'cinema on-lookers', who just

watch and enjoy the picture, 'theather spectators', who are also

silent, but take to heart everything, and sometimes they shout 'Bravo!',

'actors', who are on the podium,'students', who make conspects and ask

important questions, 'peacemakers', who are in search to smash some

'mayavadi', 'bar attenders', who feel quite confortable here and don't

see anything bad in load laugh,'street stranger', who came to this

onference by mistake and soon they leave it. Of course, there also FBIs,

CIAs and KGBs. And so on.

So I beg excuse of all humble vaisnavas, who are so shy to show

their own opinions, which are actually valuable for the process

of discussion, that I show my opinion more often.

BTW, there is also an unindentified r with

this address: varnasrama-development (AT) gbc (DOT) bbt.se

Maybe it means that GBC is paying some attention to this conference,

I don't know. But let us be vigilant! :)

(I mean don't use foul language and grude words. It would

bring a serious psychological trauma to GBC and COM Sysop

would one day cancel the conference and all it's members.

Remember: if you consider foul language acceptable,

that's mean you support it! In ideal, GBC should be respected)

Then there is also ISKCON Social and Economic development conference,

where are 81 members. But many of them are already members of

varnasrama conference.

Nice chanting, Prabhu! Now you see that it's much better

to chant in silent room. ;)

Your humble servant,

bhakta Oleg.

Ministry gives me reasons to think maybe there is hope for the GBC.

It seems they are on the right way. Hopefully I too. Haribol friends, I.m

back on COM, hope everyone is fine and happy, and if someone felt offendet

or otherwise uncomfortable by my sharp tonge in the past, please forgive

me, I promise to argue in a moore civilized way for advancing the sake of

varnasrama dharma in our society.

It seems we have still a long way to go, until that becomes true.

But for everything there is the right time, I think Krsna wants us to be

moore patient and prepare ourself better for it, what do you think?

Yhs.

Haribol, Harsi!

Nice to have you back. I don't think that you behaved very much worse than

many others in the discussion which got you suspended, you just said the

wrong thing at the wrong time, at least in the eyes of the sysop. Now that

is all over and done with, and that is good.
