Why I wouldn't want to be in India if Y2K turns out to be bad

I wouldn't want to be in India in Y2K if things turn out bad, simply because

I'm in this American body. The first thing people generally do in a

widespread crisis is take it out on the foreigners in their midst, and since

America is primarily responsible for all those nice chemicals and hybrid seeds

(what to speak of terminator technolgy), I wouldn't blame them for stringing up

any "monkey faces" they could get their hands on.
