Real men, real women, real persons?

Who is a real man in the age of Kali-yuga? Who is a real woman? I hope we

all would be real persons, not trying to be something ideal--that will

surely lead to frustration. I will do that what I can do best and what kind

of qualities I have given, and my husband will do those things which he can

do best. There is no question what is specially feminine and what is

masculine.--He can also feel himself 'masculine' when trying to help and

learn me to do 'feminine' duties.

Surely it wouldn't last very long if I had to come home every day after a

long day of reseach at university, after long travels with busses and

trains, and begin to clean the house, wash the dishes and so on.

The happiness is when we can be real persons, personal souls and serve Krsna

in the way what is most natural for us. Please Krsna in doing that what we

best can do.

Please try to get rid of the bodily platform. Please try to see the world in

the eyes of the soul. This is Kali-yuga not Satya-yuga. We are all

different. We have all different talents and inclinations.

I can and I will learn to do things which women are supposed to do, but it

is not whole of my personality. I will not try to become a real woman, I

have already understood who I am and what I can do best. Trying to become a

good houseswife would mean I would try to become something what I am not,

and everybody who know me, know it is true. Maybe I am handicapped in the

eyes of some devotees, but I truly believe that not in the eyes of Krsna.

I suppose there are much more dangerous and unfair things going on in the

world than the fact that all women are not housewifes any more.

That is a daring statement; do you think you can see the world in the eyes

of the soul? I am personally still very much on the bodily platform, even if

I am practicing a little KC.

That is true, and I think it is essential that it is tolerated that people

have different opinions about the roles of men and women. That is not "all

one".
