Via what means has this information become well > known? Indologists? Some Statues? I should have said 'It is quite well known among scholars'. I remember Abhirama Prabhu mentioning it, in discussions we had in India with various proffesors , who confirmed this was the case. It also made sense from my personal anthropology studies from my research work for Mayapur project. Some evidence can be found in historical accounts, there is also the evidence to be found in Temple carvings, and other antiquities etc. However as I said before I cannot personaly verify it.
