Pardon me, but I think that you first got to make it clear with yourself wether the names of the Lord's pure devotees are the names of God or of God's pure devotees. If you don't distinguish here, then the list of other "Names of God" is really flexible. You can add any saint or any devotee you have preferences to. Like Siva, or Durga, or Maharaja Bharata, or Srila Prabhupada, or St. Peter, Mother Teresa, Draupadi, Arjuna, The Six Goswamis... Otherwise, chanting any of the Holy Names of the Lord is not of the equal and same potency. Even in the Maha Mantra, chanting Hare, Krsna and Rama is of different potency. Chanting Visnu's name is even less potent than these three names, while chanting the names of Panca-tattva is the most potent (though it is chanting of Hare Krsna Maha-mantra that is given as process). What to speak of the names of demigods (who might be the pure devotees, nevertheless). One of the ten offences against chanting the Lord's Holy Name is specifically mentioning this. As far as Christians, if I am not mistaken, Srila Prabhupada did encouraged chanting the God's name familiar to them - Jehovah. For Muslims, that is Allah. I would suggest that these you could add to your chanting of God's names, if you wish so (though it would be much less potent than chanting Hare Krsna, but the preferences may be there). While to chant the names of the Lord's devotees as if supposedly the Holy Names of the Lord Himself, I would not think that these devotes would be really please with that. Think wether Srila Prabhupada would approve that you include his name in the Siksastaka prayer: "Oh, my Lord, Your Holy Name alone.... Krsna, Govinda, Srila Prabhupada,..." Some offense too could be involved here. It could be also good to remember that this prayer was spoken by the Lord Himself, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. So, He is referring here to Prabhupada, Jesus Christ, Mohammed ?? I really doubt that Srila Prabhupada would like us to include his name in Mahaprabhu's prayer. ys mnd ys mnd
