Guest guest
I just want to mention that when I first heard that Prsni was changing her sex, I got shocked. I went around talking as if this was a proof of how crazy things had become. (I did not know Prsni very much before this happened, and I have not seen her after she changed her sex). I also wrote about it to Janesvara, and therefore I am actually the person who is to blame for this whole discussion starting in the first place. I want to apologize to Prsni for that, even though I also think the discussion has had its good sides. Later on, I spoke to Priyavrata, who is a good friend of mine and a good friend of Prsni. Priyavrata explained me that he did not think that this was very strange, actually he had a lot of understanding for Prsni. That made me think, and I now find it natural to support Prsni for her choice, especially since this is a very personal thing, and it will in general not hurt others. Actually, it seems like it helps Prsni in many ways, and it will make her able to live a more honest life. I suggest that we focus our criticism towards those who are performing abusive acts and/or misusing power, instead of those we think do something unusual, which is actually not our business anyway. We've all been cursed by our envy of Krsna. What are we supposed to think -- someone born in a guys body who thinks he is a guy is blessed? Or maybe only women are blessed. Guest guest
Yeah, but I keep mine short. If you added up all the lines in print, I think Janesvara got me beat. > > > From the User's database: > > Sthita-dhi-muni 938 > Janesvara 369 > > as of 04/17/99 10:38 PDT > .. No need to cross your legs. I'm sure the scissors patrol is not heading your way. ;-) > Ys, > Madhusudani dasi I think the real issue is that men need to use more words not to make any sense. ..
