Very good comparison. And it's a fact in many places. It's okey for beginning of spreading Krishna consciousness, but it should'nt be a system. I think that temples shouldn't be place for living and having fun. Temples should be holy places of Deity worship and places to collect community members for religious festivals and meetings. There should be also run some educational projects, but not for all varnas. So the main goal in the lives of brahmacaries should be education. 30 and 40 years old people should'nt be welcome in brahmacari ashramas. They should also get training in KC, but definitely not as brahmacaries. This way the word "brahmacari" will lose it's meaning of titul, but it will mean a period of life. When all old "brahmacaries" will be removed from brahmacari ashrams, our kids will be more eager to stay there and study. And these ashrams should have an equal to college educatinal system, so that children would get a professional certificate after graduation. Someone will ask, "Hey, but what should we do with all our great sankirtana man? Didn't they deserve they place to stay there?" They deserved even more. They deserved their own house and a wife(husband), fireside chats and beloved children. And since they peroformed this service so many years, they supposed to be very fixed in KC, so grhastha life will not damage their strict sadhana. And after all, no one is restricting them from their duties. They can continue go on sankirtan, make grhastha sankirtana parties and distribute prasadam.
