Also, women who can't breast feed, or who can only do so for a few months should not be made to feel guilty about it. After 6 months or so, breast milk is rarely sufficient nutrition in and of itself. But I appreciate your point about the possible psychological impact on boys who are nursed for several years. It would make an interesting study. Ys, Madhusudani dasi

In New Vrindaban for many years it was the custom that women covered their hair. After not going to town for months at a time, if a women's sari were to slip off her head if was a guilty pleasure to see her hair. That is also why in karmi society the degradation continues to get worse. The level of nudity or kinkiness has to continue to get more explicit because once one level becomes commonplace, the line has to be moved into to continue to have the same level of titillation. Most material pleasures are like that. It is commonplace to denigrate watching grass grow, but if you get into restraining your senses in other areas, it can actually be quite exciting. Let's restrict all brahmacaris from watching grass grow. I'd love for them to lust over that "forbidden pleasure" and leave us women alone. I don't make it to New York much either, so a lot probably goes on there too that I've missed. Actually, New York is a lot more impressive than what I've read from Indologists. But that's probably for the cow conference too.
