Guest guest
It was deeply saddening to hear the sufferings of the ordinary people of Yugoslavia due to the ruthless bombings. People were worrying that Y2k problems would result in modern industrial civilisation getting stopped. They did not realise that this would indeed come true in Europe, but not due to Y2K. This looks like a good test case for the Varnashrama Development enthusiasts. Once the war is over, why don't one or two of them go in and set up a model farm community? Land would be cheap in a ruined country, and they won't have to persuade people who are already deprived of electricity, water, cars, industrial jobs etc.
