It is a book about how to make your own cosmetics - which might sound like Maya, until you stop to think: How would we make soap or shampoo if we couldn't go to the store to get it? This is an old book, which was published in New York and in London in the 1970s. It is out-of-print, but according to World Cat, there are a number of libraries in the US and in Europe which have the book available on inter-library loan.
