Guest guest
Yes, it seems odd. In the mode of passion one's viewpoint tends to swing from one extreme to another. Even in ordinary affairs, sometimes you see a couple in love only to break up and then totally detest each other. Sometimes it is simply a reaction to feeling betrayed and hurt. Still, it might also seem a little odd endorsing someone's past lectures when they have made such a dramatic break in their disciplic relationship with Srila Prabhupada. Whatever a certain particular devotee's shortcomings may have proven to be, it seems they did a heck of a lot of service according to their utmost capacity. Our relationship with Krsna doesn't always fit some neat Hollywood script. > One devotee, after been a bona-fide ISKCON guru, falls from his > position and loosing all social recognition. Ok, let's say maybe it's true. Maybe he > never was a pure devotee, maybe he never preached in bona fide > way, maybe his former lectures are full of theological mistakes > and misconseptiones. Maybe. But then why none of his spiritual > brothers or any ISKCON authorities or gurus never did find it > before, but only now, after his falldown? In fact, they were > praising him as a pure devetee, as a bona-fide spiritual master, > and authorized preacher. Doesn't it show their spiritual > incompetence? Or they were all bona fide in that time, and > only yogamaya covered their eyes with a blindfold? > > ..
