Wouldn't you give anything to have Srila Prabhupada again, to massage his feet, and wait for his smile or chastisment? Even if you can get that through prayer, or meditation, wouldnt it be great to have a real unambiguous, effervescent, golden hearted prema bhakta, in our midst? Isnt that worth aspiring for, as opposed to endless politics, innuendo, cheating, self glorification etc? > > Sure it would be nice, as long as the entire movement isn't expected to have a relationship with this 'pure hearted, Krsna Loving sadhu' as if he were the founder/acarya of ISKCON. There are unlimitted pure devotees, but our relationship with each of them doesn't need to imitate the flavor of our relationship with Srila Prabhupada. All the same, installing a 'Krsna Loving sadhu' as an official fixture in our life will not gaurentee an absense of 'endless politics, innuendo, cheating, self glorification etc'. These things go on the the Gaudiya Math as well as in ISKCON during Prabhupada's physical presence. Further, they went on during the Vedic glory days of the Mahabharata and Ramayana.
