Its good to be bluntly cynical sometimes.

 

A KC leader, or any mature leader, wants to train

Well of course. It is not that the guru trains one how to do his business or

how to change nappies. I was generalising. A teenage boy can be given one

type of training or instrucion, and a mature adult another. The point is

that a real guru does KNOW what we need. I mean Tamal was not exactly a

baby when Prabhupada told him to go to China.

Prabhupada did an extraordinary amount of work for a man so late in life.

Physicaly his body was just skin and bones when he left. I am not so sure he

would not want to train them more. He did speak of going to Gita Nagari to

teach them to live off the land. Personaly I feel they needed to learn a lot

more about surrender, as we never actualy got varnasrama off the ground, and

now practicaly no one wants to do it.

By Krsna's mercy you get guru.
