Dear Janesvara Prabhu. Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Thank you for your kind words and for expanding my understanding on this subjectmatter. The real initiation takes place in the heart that is a fact, but Srila Prabhupada did nevertheless set up the system of formal diksa. As far as I have understood the basic association with the spiritual master is service which one can perform both close and far away, it does not matter. Spiritual bonds cannot be broken by material means. I try to keep it short because my time is limited, but I feel grateful, honored and inspired by your kind letter, thank you very much.
