I wonder wether HH Satsvarup Maharaja also holds the same position like you, i.e. that only an uttama-adhikari disciple of Srila Prabhupada is capable of connecting us to Prabhupada and Krsna. > I wont presume to judge where he is > at because it is not my prerogative to do so now. Right, the proper etiquette for disciple is not to *judge* the spiritual master. Nor to continue checking the guru out once he has accepted him. But I would say that it is not an offence from the side of the disciple to be aware of, or at least to presume, wether his guru is a bona-fide guru (uttama-adhikari) or not. > > If some of you feel there is no need to pray for a pure soul, that is up > to you, don't do it then. And any that feel that a pure soul is needed > then pray for one. Krsna fulfills all our desires. Someone who already got a pure soul, a maha-bhagavata, for a guru would hardly be expected to feel the need for praying to Krsna to send him one. Krsna might "wonder", "What's going on? I have already sent him one, and he is still praying me for." ys mnd ys mnd
