Would you give up Srila PRabhupadas Physical > association to read a book? So why should others NOT pray for a pure > devotee. Is it such a bad idea? The argument was rather over wether we need an another acarya to get Prabhupada's books explained from, or not. Not exactly that "we got the books, therefore we need no pure devotees no more". Besides, the implication of your argument (as I saw it) was that currently none in ISCKON is able to understand properly Prabhupada's books, and then to convey it to us. So we got, *therefore*, to pray for such a soul, to pull us out the "maze" of Srila Prabhupada's books. Otherwise, let's pray to Krsna for (more) pure devotees. That is, of course, not such a bad idea. ys mnd
