The argument was rather over wether we need an another acarya

to get Prabhupada's books explained from, or not. Not exactly

that "we got the books, therefore we need no pure devotees no

more". Besides, the implication of your argument (as I saw it)

was that currently none in ISCKON is able to understand properly

Prabhupada's books, and then to convey it to us. So we got,

*therefore*, to pray for such a soul, to pull us out the "maze"

of Srila Prabhupada's books.

 

Otherwise, let's pray to Krsna for (more) pure devotees. That

is, of course, not such a bad idea. ;)
