Are these also meant to illustrate your conclusion about the necessity for Srila Prabhupada's disciples to get such an acrya in order to access Srila Prabhupada's vani? Faith? Well... I still have the faith that Srila Prabhupada's disciples will make it even without that another acarya. I have just lost my spiritual master, but I nevertheless didn't loose the faith that other ISCKON gurus and senior disciples of Prabhupada are capable of understanding Srila Prabhupada's books and delivering themselves by following his vani, and pulling this ISCKON (us) forward. When I lose that faith, then I will cry to Krsna to save us all, our Gurus and us. > > How many times do I have to repeat this. I would be more than glad to avoid making you repeating the same. But that would mean that I ought to read "the writings of Bhaktivinoda" as "the writings of Prabhupada". I can't do that, sorry. Please don't insist. Srila Prabhupada made his writings accessible to his disciples and his followers without to be obligatory HEARED from the lips of an another pure devote. So, I will simply avoid discussing this particular point further, since I can't help you otherwise stop repeating Bhaktisiddhanta's point that Thakura's writings need to be heard from the lips of the pure devotee. > > Maybe we should all consult with our authorities before writing to this > conference? If so, I guess I will be back in a few months. My idea was that in the case of our discovering the "siddhanta" which would lead to correcting our spiritual authorities in their approach to their spiritual master (Srila Prabhupada), in that case, maybe it would be perhaps advisable to first do some consultation with some of those spiritual authorities (that we might still have trust to) before we let that "siddhanta" out into public. Or am I too odd? ys mnd
