I honestly do not know that as a fact. I am only saying one who is fortunate will choose a guru with proper qualifications. > As sincere devotees, Krsna will send us many well wishers. Ultimately, it is Krsna's, or should I say Radharani's, decision to bestow pure devotional service. Naturally, they are inclined to fulfill the desires of all their devotees, advanced or otherwise. It is again most curious that we may say Srila Prabhupada is so powerful he can save us from material life, then in the next breath insinuate that none of his disciples have been saved from material life. Kinda sounds like pretzel logic to me. > > Is it wrong to allow a prospective disciple to choose between Srila Prabhupada and someone else as their guru? Of course, the loaded issue these days concerns a guru offering diksa after his physical departure. There are no examples of this to be found in any of Srila Prabhupada's books, and he said he put everything in his Bhaktivedanta purports. ys, Sthita
