Janesvara prabhu, I try and try, but I still cannot figure out what is the difference between your position and the position of the rtviks. I certainly agree with you that Srila Prabhupada can still provide siksa to any person in the world. He can act as siksa guru to anyone who wants to have him in that role. And, every devotee in ISKCON should take shelter of Srila Prabhupada as a siksa guru of exceptional importance. To sincerely follow Srila Prabhupada as their siksa guru would be their best insurance of spiritual welfare. Where I feel very hesitant is when you seem to imply that Srila Prabhupada can still give diksa. My own understanding and belief is that from 1978 onward, it is not possible for anyone to take diksa from Srila Prabhupada. If you are implying that it is still possible for someone to take diksa initiation from Srila Prabhupada, even though he is no longer *physically* present, this sounds to me just like the rtvik argument. Prabhu, can you please clarify this for all the devotees. Do you agree with the argument of the rtviks that a devotee can still take diksa initiation from Srila Prabhupada? If your position differs from theirs, could you please explain the difference. your servant, Hare Krsna dasi
