Welcome out of your closet. :-) Here in San Francisco we don't like those at all. As far as I can tell, that's what the debate boils down to. Some people think he does, and that this should be *the* way diksa is conducted in ISKCON these days, while others (myself included) think he provides siksa, but not diksa. I'm not going to repeat my other opinions here about the importance of either one. I agree with you that ritvik (like feminist) has become a too convenient label to attach to those we want to attack. I'm not saying that Hare Krsna Prabhu did this, but I've seen both "feminist" and "ritvik" labels being assigned to discredit devotees.
