Welcome out of your closet. :-) Here in San Francisco we don't like those

at all.

As far as I can tell, that's what the debate boils down to. Some people

think he does, and that this should be *the* way diksa is conducted in

ISKCON these days, while others (myself included) think he provides siksa,

but not diksa. I'm not going to repeat my other opinions here about the

importance of either one.

I agree with you that ritvik (like feminist) has become a too convenient

label to attach to those we want to attack. I'm not saying that Hare Krsna

Prabhu did this, but I've seen both "feminist" and "ritvik" labels being

assigned to discredit devotees.

Ys,

Madhusudani dasi

That is funny, because I am limiting my time on the computer and I have run

out

of time each day before getting to Janesh's long rittvik text, so he has

properly pegged me! But have no fear Janesh, I haven't deleted it yet, and

next rainy day will plow through the whole thing!

Thanks buddy! I am sure its really not that important. Don't neglect the

strawberries and vegetables on my account! Rain, rain go away, come again

another day.

I look forward to your comments whenever you get a chance.

Sincerely,

Janesh

Oh please , I beg you, withdraw this curse! Without rain, all my labors

will

be brought to ruination. I can only work and control so many factors, I am

dependent on the Higher Powers for favorable weather. If the devotees use the

potency of their prayers to chase the rain, I am finished! Irrigated,

chemically

raised California strawberries will be my pale fate.

Sorry! The "curse" is withdrawn.
