This is > Prabhupada's Bhagavad Gita and Hayagriva & Jayadvaita have done some > service correcting the english etc. These are daily used expressions in ISCKON. Especially in the BBT. "Hayagriva's edition/version" and "Jayadvaita's edition/version" of the Bhagavad-gita. Yet everybody is perfectly clear with that we speak about different *editorial* versions of the *same* PRABHUPADA'S Bhagavad-gita. Or almost everybody, pardon me. You aren't. > They can take no credit in the writing just like a janitor > cannot take credit for running and funding a school even though if the > janitor doesn't do the job properly everything becomes hellish. They can take credit in **editing** Prabhupada's words, in presenting them in the manner that would be more appealing, more understandable and easier acceptable to the general public. Some (like HH Hridayananda Maharaja) suggest perhaps rather footnoting than editing (at least in some instances), for the sake of acheiving the same purpose. Are you really so naive to belive that HKdd was crediting these two editors for the ***writing*** the Bhagavad-gita As It Is ??? No, I don't believe you are being naive here really. She said she wouldn't reply to you anymore, so now you can throw on her any nonsense that you may imagine in your mind. But then that is perhaps also a kind of being naive, if you think it can work just like that -- that louder you scream some nonsense on her, that more guilty she ought to appear. > I cannot believe that Prabhupada's Gita can be characterized in > such a frivilous manner. Crying is a cheap method for relaxing oneself. Just go ahead. However, some shrinks recommend laughing sessions as well. Take your pick. > Hopefully, this will be my last posting on the issue. Srila Prabhupada's books and mission will manage somehow to survive without your postings, in the meantime. Yes, some maybe have been hurt by your "truths", but don't bother yourself about. Come back when refueled again. To reveal us some other "truths" that you still got in your stock, and that might hurt others. And why are you *apologizing* anyway for? It is the Truth, not you, that may hurt, right? You don't have to apologize in the name of the Truth (unless the Truth asks you for that favor, of course). ..
