I guess there is a delicate balance between offering constructive critcism and

ax grinding. If the criticism bears positive fruit, that would certainly be

considered a good thing. But if the criticism creates too much acrimony and

political intrigue, that might not be so good.

 

Interestingly, Prabhupada often employed flattery when preaching to 'big' men

who he didn't consider to be his own disciples.
