I am not "painting them all with the same brush" despite how you may interpret

any of my comments. I am only painting those who are claiming to be "leaders"

but who are not making varnasrama-dharma a priority. If they are, and I will

give you the benefit of the doubt that there are some (though I see very

little manifestation), they ARE leaders. That is great. But why not ALL of

them? Why is there not a consensus amongst the GBC? Certainly if Srila

Prabhupada were here and he reiterated his varnasrama morning walk

conversations of '74 and his Valentine's Day '77

conversations he would require a consensus, nay, a unanimity, of the GBC to

follow his clear orders on implementing VAD within ISKCON. The GBC is not even

close on this.

As long as the rank and file remain apathetic to bad leadsership, the

manufactured social system of the GBC will continue unabated with similar

results as has been seen over the last 25 years. If they feel that this is

success and progressive advancement of Lord Caitanya's para upakara program

then I guess I am beating a dead horse and I will leave them to their demise.

(Nah, I wouldn't do that! Then I would have to shutup.)

These ARE positives and I fully acknowledge this.

Yes, but in what or WHOSE direction? Are they going to start varnasrama

colleges in EVERY center for EVERY devotee EVERYDAY? Are they going to preach

VAD in accordance with Srila Prabhupada's prescribed instructions as detailed

in the aforementioned VAD conversations? Or are they going to manufacture

THEIR interpretation of VAD?

C'mon after 25 years and 3 months of waiting, what sane person, truly desiring

to see Srila Prabhupada's instructions on VAD implemented in order to take

advantage of them himself, could remain silently patient?

One could make a pretty good case against continuing with such "leaders" when

their record has so many blemishes. If there were voters deciding I think not

too many "leaders" would last more than a couple of years. Also, normally,

their is some sort of retribution for neglect of leaders in order to deter

such action in the future.

If someone, who is specifically in a leadership position, establishes a long

record of neglecting the orders of the spiritual master regarding social

leadership, why would intelligent citizens not seek removal of the "leader"

from office. This is Vedic. You don't have to kill the guy or anything close

to that. He should simply be reengaged elswise because he has proven himself

not a leader. You don't BECOME qualified magically by continuing to fumble

around. You EARN it by hard work and conviction to the established goal in the

varna you are truly suited for. That has hardly been the case with ISKCON

"leaders" and VAD.
